Este video é qualquer coisa, é fascinante, surreal.. Perpetual Ocean mostra as correntes superficiais do oceano desde Junho de 2005 até Dezembro de 2007. O video não inclui qualquer tipo de narração propositadamente, o objectivo é simplesmente deixar-se levar na corrente de imagens... alinham?

This is easily the most beautiful thing you'll see today: here's "Perpetual Ocean," a visualization of the Earth's ocean surface currents around from June 2005 to December 2007 by NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center Scientific Visualization Studio. The visualization does not include a narration or annotations; the goal was to use ocean flow data to create a simple, visceral experience.

3D Street Art

If you encounter one of these amazing 3d murals by John Pugh painted on the side of a building, you might feel like you’re peering into a tear in the space-time continuum. Don’t worry, they’re just incredible works of art, no need to call The Doctor.

As Pugh says of his work, "I have found that the 'language' of life-size illusions allow me to communicate with a very large audience. It seems almost universal that people take delight in being visually tricked. Once captivated by the illusion, the viewers are lured to cross an artistic threshold and thus seduced into exploring the concept of the piece."

Siete Punto Uno, Los Gatos, California

The mural Siete Punto Uno is located on Main Street in the town of Los Gatos, California. Los Gatos was one of the communities that suffered the most significant damage from the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake. Considered the propitiator of earthquakes, the Mayan jaguar god (as represented in the mural) is grafted with the "cats" of Los Gatos to become one of the key metaphors of this concept.

Academe' Taylor Hall, Chico, CA

In 1980 John Pugh obtained his first major commission from California State University, Chico in northern California where he received his degree in art. Taylor Hall was to bring him international recognition and move John's career into high gear. He realized quickly that his Trompe l'oiel style art really connected with artist and non-artist alike. Not just because it was fun to look at with its illusion of hyper-realism that would always prompted any first-time viewer to do a second take, but because great stories could be told by using this style that few artist at this time were employing, especially in a public art context.

Felis catus - the cat

O gato doméstico (Felis catus) é nosso amigo há quase 4000 anos, desde os Egípcios. São bichinhos extremamente elegantes, independentes e ágeis não deixando de ser também engraçados e extremamente fofos ;) Quem é que não adora um miminho, um carinho do seu animal de estimação? Quem consegue resistir a estas pequenas criaturas, tão giras? Eu não...e vocês?

Domestic cats, no matter their breed, are all members of one species. Felis catus has had a very long relationship with humans. Ancient Egyptians may have first domesticated cats as early as 4,000 years ago. All cats are nimble and agile, and their long tails aid their outstanding balance. They are cute little friends, who can resist them?? I don't.. what about you?
