The tutu project by Bob Carey

Pinned Image

"The inspiration behind this series is so incredibly touching Bob Carey wears a pink tutu. Let me rephrase that: Bob Carey is a photographer who wears a pink tutu. He’s wearing it and photographing himself for his wife, Linda, and other countless women fighting breast cancer. The photography is touching, beautiful and artistic. The cause is equally touching, beautiful and creative. I really love this project more than I know how express for the sheer heart behind it."

The mission of The Tutu Project™ (the work of photographer Bob Carey) is to support the fund raising efforts of The Carey Foundation for women with breast cancer. They strive to bring laughter and understanding to a community that has endured far too much.

The photographer Tony Flashman wrote:

"This little fly thought it was being clever by hiding behind the grass in a game of hide and seek but he didn't do a very good job. I could see his eyes peeking out from either side and its legs wrapped around the grass."

Produts I Love - Google Glass

Glass is, simply put, a computer built into the frame of a pair of glasses, and it’s the device that will make augmented reality part of our daily lives. By speaking the phrase “Ok Google”, followed by one of the pre-set commands, you’ll be able to perform a Google search, take a picture, record a video, send a message, or get directions to a location.

A video released by Google on Wednesday, which can be seen below, showed potential uses for Project Glass. Enjoy it!

Pic of the day - Massive Bird Nests Built on Telephone Poles

Massive Bird Nests Built on Telephone Poles in Southern Africa are Home to Multiple Species of Birds

"Sociable weaver birds live in the Kalahari Desert of southern Africa. They're called "sociable" because they live in colonies. Also, they're not a bit territorial: they welcome the presence of other birds regardless of species. Sociable weavers thus build popular nests that grow and grow, year after year. Photographer Dillon Marsh noticed that they made good use of telephone poles that dot across the desert."
