Creativity on a White Plate by the Artist Hong Yi (red)

"Owl-nion!"

For almost every day last month Malaysian artist/architect Hong Yi (who often goes by the nickname Red) created a fun illustration made with common (and occasionally not so common) food. Have a look at her latest creations on instagram here - check out her grated carrot tiger, polar bears on an icecream iceberg and a campbell's soup can made of ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard and oyster sauce! or visit her facebook if you want to know more about Hong Yi's work.

"Field of tulips..."
"Cucumber landscape: Made from one single cucumber."
"Three Little Pigs..."
"Three Little Pigs (Part 2)"
"Three Little Pigs (Part 3): This is how the third pig REALLY got away"
"An eggplant circus...and a nervous-looking elephant"
"Tiny tutus"
"Sonny, if anything, just stay far far away from Colonel Sanders."
"The Scream!"
"Giant Squid Attack!"
"All you need is love..."
