"Sociable weaver birds live in the Kalahari Desert of southern Africa. They're called "sociable" because they live in colonies. Also, they're not a bit territorial: they welcome the presence of other birds regardless of species. Sociable weavers thus build popular nests that grow and grow, year after year. Photographer Dillon Marsh noticed that they made good use of telephone poles that dot across the desert."
